The Business Improvement Programme
provides individuals with in-depth knowledge, experience and skills to attain the respected position of SENSEI.
Sensei is derived from the Japance culture and means teacher/champion within their business.
The programme offers a series of 3hr master classes that repeat throughout the year.
Its your choice
Comprising 3 parts, delegates are able to participate in any one, two or all three parts.
Part 1: CEE Sensei status
o Workplace organisation - 5s and visual management
o Continuous improvement – Kaizen problem solving techniques
o Lean thinking, flexible production – KANBAN
o Value stream mapping
o Total production maintenance
o SPC and Six Sigma overview
Part 2: Introductory first line management
o Induction/leadership
o Motivation/building the team
o Communication process/time management
o Problem solving skills
o Management of change/coaching
o Self development/tutorial support
Completion of this part awards delegates with the 'Advanced Leadership Certificate'
endorsed by the Institute of Leadership & Management.
