Lean awareness workshop
Lean awareness workshops – free of charge!
The Centre of Engineering Excellence is hosting a series of 2 day ‘lean awareness’ workshops that are totally free to attend.
The workshops are open to anyone in the Black Country and Walsall areas.
In conjunction with Advantage West Midlands, the event introduces a simulated production flow exercise and covers:
o Principles of lean manufacturing
o 8 waste principles
o Tools and techniques
o 5s principles
o Visual management
o Kaizen
o Communication
o Production simulation – Prodsim
The events are run throughout the year and are offered on a first-come-first-served basis.
